We’re thrilled to introduce our newest Paedicare team member – Dr Yassmin Musthaffa. Yassmin provides newborn services at Mater Mothers Private Brisbane and specialist private General Paediatric and Paediatric Endocrinology services from Mater’s South Brisbane campus.
Yassmin spent her early childhood in Zambia and later childhood in New Zealand. She has spent many years working in leading hospitals across New Zealand and Queensland as a paediatrician, and more recently as a paediatric endocrinologist.
Yassmin thoroughly enjoys caring for all children – newborns through to adolescents. Of particular interest to her are thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, disorders of puberty and pituitary disorders.
Yassmin’s training pathway has enriched her clinical skills and enables her to provide exceptional, culturally competent care for her patients. She is a mother of two and understands the importance of holistic, family-centred care.
